TCR Foundational Program
Every new client will be asked to commit to a minimum 5 week training program, customized to their dog’s specific needs.
Starting with a 2 hr In-Person Consultation at TCR’s Ranch, you will go home with actionable steps and homework to get to work right away. In order to create momentum and consistency in your results, 4 In-Person Follow Ups must be completed continuously every week after the Consultation.
Includes training support during every day of this program. Written documents, video tutorials, text and phone call coaching.
This Foundational Program gives you tools you need to better understand your dog’s needs and how to fulfill them. Upon completion, owners are eligible for the many TCR Club perks like group classes, the membership page, our very specialized boarding & so much more.
IN-PERSON Consultations are done at TCR’s Ranch where Kim and her Pack get to work the moment you park! Kim will take her time to answer and ask questions, discuss your concerns and goals, and create an effective treatment plan to move forward with. You will leave with new skills, understandings and homework.
VIRTUAL Consultations are available for out of town pack members and done via FaceTime, Zoom or Google Meet. Virtual appointments include a detailed “recap” document full of our important points, lessons and homework. You will also receive supportive training documents, visual aids and an invitation to share videos for questions, check-ins & ‘pupdates’ - keeping you on track with your homework daily.
Virtual Follow Up
*only available to out of county clients. In this follow up session, Kim reviews and assesses the homework and goals you have been achieving, make appropriate tweaks where necessary, answer questions and assign another layer and level of homework to the foundation of training you are learning.
Even though Virtual Trainings are “hands off”, Kim provides clear verbal, written and video instructions for you to achieve real long term results.
Using formats such as FaceTime, Zoom or Google Meet, we can have a live video conference that continues the learning and builds on your Foundational Pillars.
In-Person Follow Up
In this follow up session, you receive private one-hour sessions that are broken down into simple layers to build & solidify the foundation of a Trusting & Respectful relationship.
Every time we meet, we will custom tailor our time, pace and teachings to create a plan that sets everyone up for success (dog and human alike).
Price varies depending on location.
In-Person sessions should start in TCR’s controlled training environments in Santa Clarita before advancing into sessions in your home and neighborhood.
Day Training
As no issues are solved overnight nor without a lifestyle adjustment, Day Trains are meant to help get things started in a big way! Your dog spends the entire day at The Canine Republic Ranch, where they are getting intensive time learning our fundamental pillars to success as well as reconditioning to existing triggers.
Included: Each Day Training ends with a private lesson upon pick up so that the humans learn what they need to carry out the lesson from the day.
Board To Behave
Intended for those who have completed our Foundational Program of a Consultation and at least 4 private sessions continuously. Your pup will come to live at The Canine Republic Ranch for 2 weeks, getting daily learning from Kim’s personal lifestyle and her pack of dogs. Limited Availability!
More than boarding, but not as extensive as a Bootcamp, this program works to build off your existing TCR Foundational Training Pillars of Crate, Place, Leash & Relaxation. This program can cover advanced learnings in dissolving reactivity, gentle eCollar training, stabilizing healthy dog Socialization, Off-Leash Recall and so much more are taught during this program. Goals will be discussed and agreed upon before program begins.
Not intended for severe cases.
Included: Three 60 min sessions w/ Kim during the program, a written guide to transition home, and 2 follow up sessions once the dog returns home.
Behavior Bootcamp
Eligible for clients who have completed our Foundational program of a Consultation and at least 4 private sessions continuously.
We do not believe that long term success can be achieved without the hard work, commitment and dedication of the owners. This is a highly intensive program for your dog AND the humans! After the private sessions are completed, your dog will be living and training directly with Kim for 6 weeks. During their stay, twice a week, there will be private 90 min. lessons, intended for training the humans what they need to know for lifetime results when their dog comes home to them. Not only is there practical hands-on training for you, but there is natural re-learning about your relationship dynamics with your dog.
Every day your dog is with us, they will be re-associating their triggers and developing solid obedience cues, but most importantly, learning how to feel good and problem solve what were once 'impossible' situations. We create a lifestyle for them to live comfortably in with us, then we teach you how to transfer that home. A 2-hour Home Transition session and a lengthy, customized "Instruction Manual" will be provided to help you easily navigate the first 30 days of their return. The training Bootcamp continues but now in your home! One to two follow ups are included in this program.
Anyone truly interested in this board and train program should be ready to put in 3-4 months worth of steady work!

Whether you’re just entering the dog world or are an established professional looking to broaden your skill set, this program is for you. Follow Kim for the day and observe how she runs her business, manages her team, works with new and existing clients, operates her pack walks, boarding dogs, daycare, and of course, how she works with the current dogs in her training programs.
Every day can be extremely hands-on, physically and mentally demanding, so come ready and rested to keep up! You will practice Kim’s simple, yet proven formulas and techniques on any dogs she believes are safe and appropriate to suit your skill set. As the title implies, this involves Shadowing Kim while she works, so bringing your own dog to work should be set up through a different training program.
