Bring your reactive dog and spend an intensive 3-day weekend learning how to properly fulfill their needs, communicate more clearly, read their cues and ultimately connect on a higher level. This is a small, fun and private event with only 5 working spots allowed.
Upon registration, students receive a “Welcome Letter” with necessary details, including suggestions for dog friendly lodging. A catered lunch, mid-day snacks and beverages will be provided daily and your dog will be crated comfortably when it’s not working.
There is so much information and ground to cover in these 3 days, so in order for students to be fully prepared to hit the ground running, homework will be required prior to arrival. An introduction to Rectangle walking and how to charge the “Yes” Marker properly will be outlined in detail and emailed about a week PRIOR to the event. This homework is crucial for every student to be fully prepared for our first day!
A NEW BONUS we are proud to offer to the event! Spend a couple hours with Kim and her team the day before the event pack walking TCR’s alumni dogs! This is meant to give students the chance to walk a calm, controlled pack with dogs experienced in advanced levels of TCR Geometry and truly “Living the Lifestyle”. In this, students can witness the long term results of TCR’s approach and techniques.
On Day 1, Kim will specifically break down TCR’s “Yes” Marker and 4 Geometry Shapes: Rectangle, Square, Triangle & Circle. In this we teach you and your dog about loose leash walking, waiting in stillness even when troubled, mental and physical thresholds & shaping free movement and healthy free thinking.
Day 2, our team safely stages controlled challenges that trigger your dog’s reactivity and you get to apply all of what you’ve been learning. In this time we teach/strengthen Recall, expand on E-Collar (if the dog is already conditioned) and learn about TCR’s Sound Space Touch protocols.
On the final day, we take it to the real world! We meet at a local park, start with car work and then move about the park around uncontrolled distractions/triggers. You will understand how to bring all of your learnings together to practically problem solve reactivity. The third day ends with a large social with about a dozen of TCR’s most trusted pack members. Each student gets to watch Kim introduce their dog to the pack and learn just what their dog is capable of in social situations and how other balanced dogs see them. Breaking down the psychology of what your dog is going through to better understand how to support, advocate for or interrupt them.

Student dogs will require proof of vaccinations. All students require registration information and a signed waiver.
